Are my items insured?
Yes, of course! We offer complimentary coverage of £500 per unit. For anything additional please contact us.
Can I cancel my contract earlier?
We pride ourselves on being as flexible as possible!
If you signed up to a duration discount, you can still terminate your contract whenever you like. All that we do is reverse any discount received for selecting the longer duration.
Do you collect the stuff I want to store from my home?
Absolutely!
We launched our collection service to create an end to end service for self storage.
Urban Self Storage removes the inconvenience from the storage process. Our professional movers will come to your home to collect your items, so you won’t need to visit a storage facility again. They can also help with packing, disassembling furniture, and can provide packing materials if necessary.
When you’re ready to have your items returned, just schedule a return through your online account, and we’ll bring back any or all of your belongings to the same or a different address from where we collected them.
To begin, simply select a date and time for us to visit your home and pick up the items you want to store
Can you return my items to a different location?
Yes, we can return your items to anywhere in mainland UK.
If your return is more than 20 miles from your collection address, there will be a surcharge of 58p* per mile of the total distance. Please check our terms for up to date details.
We also offer international shipping if your return is even further away. Contact us for a quote.
Do you offer weekend collections?
Our online availability is Monday to Friday.
Weekends are possible in specific locations and subject to availability. Please reach out to one of the team and they will assist further.
